Such a kind and talented man. Our family was lucky to call him neighbor. We had so many great times in the woods around our houses as kids. As a recent high school graduate, he helped me get hired on a summer carpenter crew at CMU. He once caught me having a bit of a cat nap on a dorm room bed and didn't get me in trouble. :-)

So grateful for the help he gave my mom after our dad passed, even when it may have been tiring for him. Let's celebrate a life well-lived and remember all the good he brought to his family and so many other people.

I was a neighbor as my house was next door but I spent more time at the Wilson’s than my own home. Bob was simply the best, he taught us the value of hard work and to have fun. I remember fondly Bob, Thad and I traveling to see Todd in Florida and our deep see fishing escapade. He was a very important person in my life. My deepest sympathies go out to the Wilson family...my extended family. Here is a picture from my visit about a year ago.

We are so honored and blessed to have known your dad. He was truly a blessing in our lives from when we were kids and playing in his barn, riding Terri's horses and as a neighbor who helped my family countless times, especially after we lost our dad, Jerry Powell. Bob was there helping mom with anything that broke or needed put together. He was a wonderful man. We hope you find peace in his memories.
