Obituary for Roberta Jane Good (Parkin)
ROBERTA JANE GOOD, age 77, of Mecosta passed away Monday, May 15, 2017 at home under the care of Spectrum Hospice.
Per Robert's wishes, there are no services planned at this time. Her ashes will be interred at the Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly.
Roberta was born on May 28, 1939, in Pontiac, the daughter of Rolland and Geraldine (Clyne) Parkin. Roberta loved to crochet afgans, sew quilts, canning all types of foods, woodworking, and had a beautiful blueberry patch, where she was dedicated to picking every year. She loved spending time outdoors and traveling.
Roberta is survived by her husband John; children, Dave of Rochester, Larry of FL, Glen of FL, Marry of Detroit, Roberta of TN, and Dennis of MI; step-children, Carmen, Angile, Daloris, and Unsla, all of MI; sisters, Maxeen, Dorthy, and Lee, all of MI; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren from all over.
Roberta was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Jeldean.
