Message: Russ was one of the most intelligent, accomplished,hard working, loyal and compassionate people I've ever had the pleasure of knowing. I have spent the last 20 yrs getting to know him and becoming part of his family. He has taught Kevin and I a great deal over the years and has built a wonderful relationship with his granddaughter Kaitlyn. They were best buds, so happy that within the last days of his life, he was able to spend one last birthday with her having their favorite. I truly believe even as tired as he was, he told heaven to wait because he needed to have one last dish of ice cream with his Kaityonno! I'm very glad I was able to be there for him and Karen during all the rough times. Papa you will truly be missed by many, expecially your son and granddaughter. I know how very proud you were of them both. Thank you for always making me feel like your family all these years. We love you
