PATEN, SANDRA ANN, age 70, of Mt. Pleasant, passed away Sunday, July 22, 2018 at McLaren Central Michigan.

Per Sandy's wishes, cremation has taken place and a private memorial service will be held.

Sandy was born July 15, 1948, in Bay City, the daughter of Floyd and Evelyn (Swiecicki) Williams. She married James Paten on February 14, 1980. He preceded her in death on October 10, 2012. Sandy worked for General Motors for over 10 years. She loved playing bingo, and worked bingo at the Village Hall in Bay City. Sandy also liked bowling and was a huge NASCAR fan, especially Dale and Dale Jr. She also liked to design and decorate cakes.

Sandy is survived by her children: Misti (Jim) Houle of Shepherd, Paul Paten (Carrie Edwards) of Cadillac, John (Pam) Paten of Bay City, and Jim Paten of Sterling; grandchildren Jonathan, Dakota, Cameron, Levi, Matthew, and August; sister Debbie (Ken) Hubbell of Mt. Pleasant; and several nieces and nephews.

Sandy was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband.
