Sara Louise  Dell (Johnston)
DELL, SARA LOUISE, age 88, of Mt. Pleasant went peacefully to be with Jesus on Sunday, August 26, 2018, at Margaret's Meadows following a long illness.

Funeral Services for Sara will be held at Clark Family Funeral Chapel on Thursday, August 30, at 11 a.m. with Pastor Andy Molyneux from the First Baptist Church officiating. Interment will follow in Riverside Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 29, from 5 to 8 p.m. Visitation will continue the day of the service from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. Memorial contributions may be made to Life Today with James Robison for African clean water wells. Envelopes will be available at the funeral chapel.

Sara was born on October 26, 1929, in Weidman, the daughter of John and Maude (Walden) Johnston. Sara owned and operated Sara Louise's Beauty Shop for 57 years. Sara was a member First Church of the Nazarene for many years. Sara had her instrument pilots license and enjoyed traveling overseas. She enjoyed animals, especially her dogs. Sara also enjoyed her flowers, doing genealogy, and loved spending time at School Section Lake and Englewood, FL. Sara was involved in many missions projects including, sewing bandages for missionary doctors, reading missionary books and making cookies for others who read missionary books, and helped with church dinners. Sara will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Sara is survived by her son, David (Debbie) Dell of Mt. Pleasant; 1 grandson, Michael (Krisha) Dell; and 3 great-grandchildren, Brianna, Karryn, and Malachi Dell.

Sara was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Myron Johnston; and sister, Dorothy Johnston.
