Obituary for Sarah Ann Wells (Lantto)
WELLS, SARAH ANN, age 74, of Mt. Pleasant passed away Thursday, April 5, 2018, at MidMichigan Medical Center in Alma.
A Private Memorial Service for Sarah will take place at a later date in Houghton, MI. Memorial contributions may be made to the family. Envelopes will be available at Clark Family Funeral Chapel.
Sarah was born on September 26, 1943, in Houghton, MI, the daughter of Arthur and Helen (Juhola) Lantto. Sarah received two Master's and was a teacher in high school and college for over 46 years, spending many years teaching at Beal City. She enjoyed reading and traveling.
Sarah is survived by her sisters, Judy Corsini of Southfield, MI, and Lois (Paul) Butkovich of Green Bay, WI; nephews, Robert Corsini, Chris Corsini, Mark Butkovich, and Todd (Katy) Butkovich; and great-niece, Matilda Helen.
Sarah was preceded in death by her parents; infant sister, Patricia; grandparents, Selma Lantto and Lisa Juhola; and ex-husband, Douglas Wells.
