Obituary for Sherron Lynn Haggart

Sherron Lynn  Haggart
HAGGART, SHERRON LYNN, age 69, of, Rosebush passed away Monday, May 30, 2016, at MidMichigan Medical Center in Alma.

Funeral Services for Sherron will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, June 2, 2016, at Clark Family Funeral Chapel with Pastor Joe Beavan of Rosebush United Methodist Church officiating. Interment will follow in Denver Township Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-9 p.m. on Wednesday, June 1, at Clark Family Funeral Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to Isabella County Women’s Aid Shelter. Envelopes will be available at the funeral chapel.

Sherron was born on May 15, 1947, in Midland, the daughter of James and Emma (Beamish) Green. She graduated in the the Class of 1965 from Mt. Pleasant High School. She married Lonnie “John” Haggart. Sherron worked as a legal secretary for 15 1/2 years for the Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe where she retired January 2010. Previously she had worked for 26 years for Judge O’Connell. Sherron enjoyed knitting and quilting. She loved her grandchildren and was always a grandma-on-call for them.

Sherron is survived by her husband John Haggart of Rosebush; her daughters Lonna (Carl) Falk of Ithaca and Julie Warner of Mt. Pleasant; 8 grandchildren; brothers Frank (Ruth Ann) Green and Mickey Schutt of Mt. Pleasant; and sisters Patricia (Mike) Wentworth-Clare and Delayne Schutt of Mt. Pleasant.

Sherron was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter Jenni Haggart on June 27, 2009, and brother Rick Schutt.
