I had the privilege of working with both Shirley and Pete when I was part of the Mt. Pleasant Adult and Community Education staff. Their encouragement and support was greatly appreciated. We shared some ups and downs along the way, but i will always remember the gentle laughs, the gracious concern, and the friendship. I'm sorry I was unable to be with your as you celebrated her life.
