Obituary for Thomas Lee Sawyer
Thomas “Tom” Lee Sawyer 57 of Harrison passed away suddenly at his home on Tuesday, January 2, 2018. Tom was born January 7, 1960 in Howell, Michigan the son of Earl Benjamin and Virginia May (Wilkinson) Sawyer. Upon his high school graduation, Mr. Sawyer honorably served his country in the United States Marine Corps. On August 30, 1986 in Howell, Mr. Sawyer was united in marriage to Ms. Teena Gould.
Tom had resided in Harrison since 2008, coming from Durand, Michigan. He was an avid fisherman, hunter and outdoors enthusiast. He loved watching football, especially the Detroit Lions and the Harrison Hornets. Tom lived his life, putting his family first.
Surviving Mr. Sawyer is his loving wife of thirty- one years, Mrs. Teena Sawyer of Harrison, one daughter, Jessica Sawyer of Harrison, one son, Jonathon Sawyer also of Harrison. Thomas was preceded in death by his parents.
