EDMONDS, WILBUR FRANK, 94, of Mt. Pleasant died September 5, 2016, at Maplewood.

Wilbur was born February 4, 1922, in Mt. Pleasant, the son of Wilbur D. and Eleanor Edmonds. He was a 1st Lieutenant in the Army Air Corps in WWII from 1942-1945 as a flight instructor. He was employed in various engineering companies in several states. He retired in 1984 from Casson Engineering Co., New Port Richey, FL, as a project engineer. He enjoyed golfing, flying, reading, all sports, and exercising at the Student Activity Center.

He is survived by his wife Gail Edmonds of Mt. Pleasant, his sister Gay Myrhang of Montana and Florida, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Robert Edmonds.

Wilbur has requested cremation and no memorial service.
