William “Quincy” Adams, 63, of Mt. Pleasant passed away on Sunday, October 15, 2006 at Gratiot Medical Center in Alma.

Memorial Services for Quincy will be held on Wednesday, October 18, 2006 at 11 a.m. from the Clark Funeral Chapel with Rev. Joe Wentworth officiating. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 17, 2006 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the funeral chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to Commission on Aging or American Cancer Society. Envelopes will be available at the Clark Funeral Chapel.

Quincy was born on July 6, 1943 in Mt. Pleasant the son of Delmar and Hildegarde F. (Forsberg) Adams. He married Priscilla Gould on August 24, 1968 in Mt. Pleasant. Quincy worked for Fabiano Brothers before retiring in 1999. He served in the U.S. Army from 1961 to 1963. Quincy enjoyed golfing.

Quincy is survived by his wife, Priscilla of Mt. Pleasant; children, Mark (Jennifer) Adams of Chesapeake, VA and Melissa (Jeff) Sweet of Mt. Pleasant; grandson, Benjamin Adams of Chesapeake, VA; father in law, Don Gould of Mt. Pleasant; brother in law, Fred (Delores) Gould of Beal City; sisters in law, Leah Adams of Beulah, MI and Emily (David) Goffnett of Mt. Pleasant; several nieces and nephews.

Quincy was preceded in death by his parents; brother, James Adams M.D.; nephew Toby Adams; mother in law, Dorothy Gould and brother in law, James A. Gould.
