Obituary for Wilma Margaret Jones (Johnson)
Wilma Margaret Jones, age 91, of Blanchard passed away Sunday, November 1, 2015, at the Woodland Hospice House in Mt. Pleasant.
Funeral Services for Wilma will be held at Clark Family Funeral Chapel on Wednesday, November 4, at 4 p.m. with Pastor Scott Touzel officiating. A Luncheon will be held in the Reflections Reception Center following the service. The family will receive friends the day of the service from 1 p.m. until the time of the service. Memorial contributions may be made to the family. Envelopes will be available at the funeral chapel.
Wilma was born on April 19, 1924, in Wyoming, MI, the daughter of Gustav and Mabel (Hendrixson) Johnson. She married the love of her life, Lawrence "Larry" Jones, on June 2, 1950, in Grand Rapids. Wilma loved to play the piano and organ. She enjoyed painting, shopping, going out to eat, playing cards, and visiting with friends and family.
Wilma is survived by her children, Kathy (Dennis) Uebele, Doug Jones, and Diane (Rick) Hansen; 4 grandchildren, Jennifer (Jason) Lake, Elizabeth Jones, Nathan Jones, and Erin Jones; 4 great-grandchildren, Kaitlynn, Rachael, Madisyn, and Olivia; sister, Astrid (Arnie) Kocsner of Wyoming; and many nieces and nephews.
Wilma was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Larry Jones in 2012; parents; and brother, Rev. Kenneth Johnson.
