Obituary for David Lee Wejrowski

WEJROWSKI, DAVID LEE, age 65, of Mt. Pleasant passed away Monday, July 3, 2017, at the Laurels of Mt. Pleasant.

A Celebration of Life for David will be held at the VFW Post 3033 on Wednesday, July 12, from 12 noon until 3 p.m. with a Luncheon being served at 1 p.m. David's ashes will be interred at Memorial Gardens Cemetery on Thursday, July 13, at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or the VFW Post 3033. Envelopes will be available at Clark Family Funeral Chapel and VFW Post 3033.

David was born on November 30, 1951, in Mt. Pleasant, the son of Edmund and Adelle "Ida" (Lasko) Wejrowski. David graduated from Sacred Heart Academy in 1969. He was drafted into the United States Army serving in the Vietnam War. David worked as a land surveyor for Rudell Engineering and owned and operated Valley Resale for 10 years. He was also an auctioneer, avid sports fan, reader, and loved historical events and novels.

David is survived by his brother, John "Bucky" Wejrowski of Grayling; sister, Teresa (Paul) Stickler of Mt. Pleasant; many nieces and nephews; and his former wife and very close friend, Toni Smith.

David was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Mary Ann "Susie" (Carl) Straus.
