We will be at a loss

As a alumnus of SHA of when Leon was there with me, there wasn't a better man to chat with. Always kind and a smile in tow, Leon seemed to always make your day just a little bit better. I have fond memories of discussions between my dad and I with Leon about closing times for the gym. Only reason we had those discussions was so I could fit in extra time shooting after a injury. It took a few discussions and some convincing but once we understood each other, he started asking "how's the wrist and the jumpshot coming along" or "are we going to be seeing each other tonight, I'll be here". Another time is when I got a internship at GM-Fisher Body and having a conversation with co worker. As the talks progress and we talked about where we are from...sacred heart and st pats came up. And then...do you know Leon by chance? Out of all the places to be and have a chat about Leon comes up. What are the chances?! I know I cannot speak for all of the academy graduates, however I can say as a alumnus myself we surely did lose not only a great parishioner, but also a great man.
