Lida E. Myers, age 95, of Mt. Pleasant passed away Friday, January 29, 2016 at Crestwood Village in Mt. Pleasant.

Funeral Services for Lida will be held at Clark Family Funeral Chapel on Wednesday, February 3, 2016 at 11 a.m. with The Rev. Nancy Casey-Fulton officiating. A Luncheon will immediately follow in the Reflections Reception Center. Interment will follow in the Gilmore Township Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 2, 2016 from 2 to 8 p.m. Visitation will continue the day of the service from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. Memorial contributions may be made to the Hometown Hospice or Isabella County Commission on Aging - Activity Center. Envelopes will be available at the funeral chapel.

Lida was born on October 1, 1920 in Isabella County, the daughter of John and Cecil (Cook) Bouchey. She married Robert Woodrow Myers on December 31, 1938 in Clare. Lida worked as a housekeeper for Central Michigan University in Merrill Hall for over 10 years. She enjoyed working in her large garden and canning. Lida taught her children to be strong and independent. Lida always made sure her grandchildren had cookies at all times.

Lida is survived by her children, Maxine (Don) McDonald of Mt. Pleasant, Robert (Joyce) Myers of Mt. Pleasant, Charlotte (William) Keelean of Lake Isabella, Kathy (Leonard) Clouse of Rosebush, Wanda (Dave) Sabuda of Weidman, and Beverly Myers of Mt. Pleasant; 15 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; brother, Willis (Betty) Bouchey of Clare; sisters, Ilene Calkins of Mt. Pleasant, Virgilene Schrader of Clare, and Janet Simrau of Gladwin; sister-in-law, Joan Bouchey; and several nieces and nephews.

Lida was preceded in death by her husband, Robert on May 18, 2000; parents; brothers, Clifton Bouchey, Jack Bouchey; and sister, Charlotte Livingston.
