Ron was two years ahead of me at Lakers, and at CMU, but was always a great friend. I worked with him, Dexter McNamara and others at the Caseville DNR post. He was a funny , hard working, and sharp-whited guy. On a job where we had to do a lot of unappetizing duties, Ron was always in a great mood, making jokes, and being a great coworker and friend. Ron left a light on everyone he met, he was a wonderful husband, coworker. God bless his family and friends. May the road rise up to meet you Ronnie...

So sad to hear the news. My sympathy and prayers for the family. I haven't seen Ron in a while but he was always a kind and caring person with a huge smile on his face. RIP Ron.

Sad Ron left us so soon. I'm sure he has touched a great number of lives, mine most certainly included. He will be sorely missed. RIP, Ron.

Ron and I worked together while he was a student at Central Michigan. He was a summer employee at the DNR Waterways in Caseville. I remember one summer day at Grindstone City, we were taking our lunch under a tree and we had the radio on in the truck listening to music and someone would call in and request a song and the station would play it right away. Ron would say, how can they find that music so fast and Ken Ziel said " It's called pre recorded Ron and we all had a good laugh over that. Rest in peace Ron and Thank you for your friendship and that great smile you had. You will be missed.
