We purchased your family home in Houghton 18 years ago and in our short time knowing Ruth, she made a special place in our hearts. It is kind of ironic that we just put the house up for sale. We have found a new home on Portage Lake and will move pending the sale of the house. Your old house is pretty much the same as when you grew up in it. We had remodeled the attic and attached a two car garage. Send me your e-mail and I'll send you the listing if you are interested in seeing the old house. I will never forget running to the hospital after we agreed to buy the house. I thought she took ill because of the sale and was prepared to back out. She laughed because it was her appendix, not a heart attack....LOL. God bless you and your families.
